The Powerball Generator is a free browser-based tool that generates statistically random Powerball lottery number sets. Each click produces a fresh set of five distinct white ball numbers (drawn from 1 to 69) and one Powerball number (drawn from 1 to 26) — matching the exact format of the official U.S. Powerball lottery game.
The tool features an animated
ball display with a physics-inspired reveal sequence, making the number-picking process visually
engaging. Numbers are generated using JavaScript's Math.random()
function, combined with a modern Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm to ensure each number set is truly
random and non-repeating.
This tool is for entertainment purposes only. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the official Powerball lottery operated by the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). No purchase is necessary. No data is collected.
Powerball is one of America's most popular multi-state lottery games. A ticket requires you to pick five white ball numbers from 1–69 (order doesn't matter) and one red Powerball number from 1–26. Matching all six wins the jackpot, but there are eight other prize tiers for partial matches, starting with just matching the Powerball alone ($4 prize).
The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 292 million. The Power Play option, available for an extra $1, multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x. Jackpots start at $20 million and grow each drawing they go unclaimed.
The numbers are generated using a cryptographically seeded random algorithm in your browser. While no algorithm can produce true randomness, the generated numbers have no pattern or bias, making them as statistically valid as any other set of Powerball numbers.
No. The Powerball lottery is designed so that each drawing is completely independent. No set of numbers is "due" to win based on past results. Each ticket has the same fixed probability of winning regardless of what numbers were drawn before.
Currently, the generator creates one set per click. You can simply click "Generate Numbers" multiple times and note each set to play multiple lines on your lottery ticket.
